Bespoke handmade cakes are a wonderful option for any occasion but they take time, skill and effort, so please be mindful of this when asking for a quote. If you have a price point in mind, I will do my best to work with this so please make me aware.
When you make contact, we will need to get some information from you about your cake.
Getting the details right is what will make your cake special. You will need to provide the following so I can quote:
Once we have these details, we will be happy to give you a quote and draft some design ideas for you if required.
Once you have agreed to your cake design and price, you will receive a Confirmation Form summarising your order and outlining Payment and Collection details. This is an opportunity to check your order and make sure you are happy with everything.
Once your deposit is received, your cake will be booked into the Summer Daisy Cakes Diary. Payments should be made by Bank Transfer.
Deposits will be required to secure your booking unless your collection date is within 1 week in which case the full payment must be paid at the time of booking.
No orders can be collected without receipt of the full payment.
Summer Daisy Cakes will then be in touch nearer to your Collection date to confirm the collection time.
Summer Daisy Cakes is based in the beautiful small town of Whitchurch in Hampshire. You must be able to collect your cake from Whitchurch – the address will be given with your Cake Confirmation Form.
The collection time will be added to your Confirmation Form, and agreed with you in advance of the Collection date.
Please ensure you adhere to the Collection time agreed. I try to be as flexible as possible but I do have a family and other commitments especially at the weekends.
Summer Daisy Cakes does cater for some allergies but please be mindful that we do not operate in an allergy free kitchen, so although extra precautions will be taken we cannot make any guarantees. If you would like to discuss an allergy free cake, please do get in touch to see if we can assist.
Summer Daisy Cakes is a home-based business. We are registered with Basingstoke & Deane Council with a 5 Hygiene Rating, and fully insured. Melanie holds a current Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Certificate, and the FSA Food Allergens Certificate
